Built in 1903 in the Cape Dutch Colonial style, Villa Belmonte is an exquisite Five Star boutique hotel situated in Oranjezicht, a quiet, exclusive residential suburb framed against the backdrop of the world-famous Table Mountain, with magnificent vistas across the port city of Cape Town stretching towards Table Bay. Set in beautiful gardens dominated by a large, heated swimming pool with water features, the Villa is a tranquil oasis, yet is finely located for visits to all areas of the Cape Peninsula and wine lands and is in walking distance to the city centre and close to the waterfront.

Villa Belmonte Hotel In Cape Town

News Years Eve at Villa Belmonte Hotel in Cape TownVilla Belmonte celebrates 20 years           Villa Belmonte, a boutique hotel in the heart of one of Cape Town's most desirable suburbs, has been open for 20 years. And, having survived the ups and downs of the tourism  business in South Africa in that time, MD Cliff Jacobs says he and his wife, Tabea, would do it all again.

Jacobs, a graduate of the Johannesburg Hotel School, is one of South Africa's most experienced hoteliers and is known for his commitment to the hotel industry. He and his Swiss-born, Tabea, opened Villa Belmonte on January 2, 1992, as an upmarket guesthouse in what was a Victorian-era mansion in Belmont Avenue, Oranjezicht. In the two decades since then they have constantly updated the property which is now a five-star full-service luxury hotel which attracts leisure and business travellers from all over the world.

Jacobs says: "What an amazing ride we have had and still are having! There have been many ups and downs, but, looking back I would still have done the same: find a beautiful period house in a great location, somehow find the money to finance it, carefully reconstruct it, renovate it and start business. "We took it from an upmarket guesthouse to a five-star boutique hotel in 10 years. I congratulate Tabea, my lovely wife, without whose extraordinary effort Villa Belmonte would not have seen the light of day." We should have written a book or made a movie about it. Maybe we still will do it!"

The editor of Hotel & Restaurant, Andrew Moth, first met Cliff and Tabea Jacobs when they ran the Santos Hotel in Mossel Bay in the late 1980s. "We have stayed in touch since then," Moth said, "and nobody deserves success and accolades more than Cliff and Tabea. They thrive on every aspect of the industry and nothing has dimmed their passion for service excellence." Jacobs said today that while business had been tough since 2009, "things are starting to get better."

Report from Andrew Moth, editor of Hotel & Restaurant, 4 January 2012.

What follows is a review of the rolex replica sale. With its livery of black, orange and steel the Chronoris has been designed to offer that rolex replica that is so fashionable today. But does the Chronoris watch by Oris stand up as a good sports watch? rolex replica didn't start making sports watches until just over thirty years ago. rolex replica sale were synonymous with automatic timepieces and the 'red rotor' of its automatics is famous. However, many rolex replica sale. They felt that Oris had no heritage in sports watches and was just trying to cash in on an expanding market and replica watches sale that confirmed its lack of knowledge of sport watches. There was some truth to this criticism, but times are changing and the Chronoris is now causing quite a stir amongst watch aficionados.
